Alastair Callaghan

Trained in Clean Language, Symbolic Modelling and Gestalt Coaching, Alastair is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Certified Professional Facilitator (IAF) working with Glasgow-based charity, Kinharvie.
Since completing his Clean Language certification, Symbolic Modelling has become an ongoing source of fascination and learning for Alastair. In addition to extending his range as a Coach, Symbolic Modelling has provided Alastair with a deeper appreciation of his own values, courage, and garden!
Regularly working with individuals, teams and organisations throughout the public, third and voluntary sectors, Alastair feels privileged to be in a position where he can make a contribution to the lives and work of such a variety of people from across the UK and beyond.
As a coach, Alastair combines Clean Language and Symbolic Modelling techniques with the principles and practices of Gestalt. Alastair takes great satisfaction in seeing how these approaches can support and challenge people to expand and deepen their awareness, and so discover new perspectives and possibilities for a more life-giving future.
In addition to his role as a coach and facilitator, Alastair loves supporting people to learn and grow through education. As Kinharvie’s Director of Coach Education he leads on the development and delivery of the organisation’s ICF Accredited Gestalt Coaching Training and Mentoring offers. Alastair also leads Kinharvie’s youth coaching service for 16-25 year olds and is passionate about extending coaching opportunities to young people across Scotland.
