When Philippe Bailleur, author of Stuck? Dealing with Organizational Trauma, attended our Clean Space training earlier this year, he told me how helpful Clean Language and Clean Space can be in his work. We didn’t have time then for an in-depth conversation about this, so we agreed I would interview Philippe over Skype.

Jacqueline Ann Surin reviews "Insights in Space" and the Clean Space workshop she attended this summer and discusses how coaches and facilitators can utilise space to help their coachees solve problems, generate ideas and spark creativity.
"This course went way beyond what I expected. I had an amazing experience. I was visible and I was listened to and I think that is very hard to achieve in any training. I felt really supported and safe. I now use the skills in large public sector organisations, in focus groups, in networking, in managing conflict, designing interviews and in career work I do in schools."

"I have now attended Clean for Teams twice - once with a large group of 20 and then with a small group of 6. It was really interesting to observe myself in these different environments and to find out what I needed to work and learn at my best in those groups. It is refreshing to be in a group where it is absolutely okay to ask for what you need and to be so wonderfully supported to discover how your behavior is interpreted by others and the impact it has on them. Every time I immerse myself in this process I learn something else that makes it possible for me to show up as the best version of me without apology both at home and at work. "

"A fantastic resolution occured around my work with metaphor. It seemed to evolve around the work I have done with you so far. In short, I had a stuck moment and then into my awareness came a metaphor to resolve the issue. I was able to move the metaphor forward and develop the picture in order to resolve the stucknessof the situation. It was great!!! To work in this format exclusively has been such a wonderful release and a journey of discovery."
