It’s cancer. Now what?

An interactive workshop designed to help you identify and develop resources so that you can manage your cancer experience as well as possible.

What's involved?

Are you:

  • Someone who has been diagnosed with cancer?
  • Having treatment for cancer?
  • Recovering from treatment for cancer?
  • Caring for someone with cancer?

Have you, or a loved one, recently been diagnosed with cancer? Are you experiencing overwhelming emotions that often accompany diagnosis?

A cancer diagnosis brings significant physical and mental challenges to those affected. This interactive workshop is designed to help you identify and develop resources so that you can manage your cancer experience as well as possible.

The exercises and activities provide a format for exploring what is working well, what is not working so well and what would work better. You will be given materials and ideas to develop your own personal wellbeing 'toolbox'.

You will leave the workshop with resources and tools that will support you most during your cancer experience, allowing you to take control where possible and make the best choices for you.
