The Avila Village Inn is a large Craftsman-style property within minutes of historic landmarks, white sand beaches, gorgeous wine country, and superb golf courses. Many of the rooms and suites at the Inn feature private spa tubs. There is a walking path just off the rear entrance that is cultivated 1.5 mile walk to the beach were you can access beach side dining and music, a delicious deli on the property, and full access to the state-of-the-art Avila Bay Club and Spa.

The Local Area
If you are joining us for the full Clean Facilitator Program in October / November you will have two free days (separately) in the middle of the course to adventure out and experience some of the spectacular scenery and activities along our Central Coast. Here are some suggestions of things to do in the local area:
Beaches: Both Avila and Pismo Beach are only a short drive away or if you are a walker, there is a 1.5 mi walking path from the venue to Avila Beach.
Nature lovers: There are guided tours of Pismo Beach Butterfly Grove and Piedras Blancas Elephant Seal Rookery - beach side bicycle rentals and for those interested in adventuring a few more miles out, dune walks with bird watching, specializing in the unique sand dune species, the Snowy Plover in Guadalupe.
Golf: Avila Village Inn is adjacent to the Avila Beach Golf Resort. The Inn may be able to provide special golf packages to those of you staying at the venue.
Fishing: You can cast from Pismo Beach for surf fishing as well as participate in a chartered boating adventure from Morro Bay Patriot Sport Fishing out of Port San Luis harbor just two miles from the Venue.
Wine tasting: is available in and near San Luis Obispo. With over 200 vineyards and over 80 tasting rooms - The Santa Maria appellation is about 35 miles south and moving into about an hours drive you again get to the sunny Santa Ynez Valley. All fine California wine country.
Have you ever been to a castle? If not, now is your chance. Visit American nuevo rich Hearst Castle just north of the venue along the rugged northern coastal regions of the Central Coast. This might be the time to see the Sea Lions as well.
And the most luxurious option .. Avila Hot Springs pool for swimmers with a large natural hot springs pool to soak in and Sycamore Hot Springs offering a more private menu of hot tubs located under vast oaks and sycamore trees.
The Pismo shopping outlets are just 3 miles from the venue and have over 40 shops to choose from.

The hotel is located in the Central area of California almost equidistant from LA and San Francisco off of Highway 101. It is 10 miles west of San Luis Obispo Airport and approx. 80 miles north of Santa Barbara Airport.
By Car:
From Northbound Hwy. 101, take the Avila Beach exit. Follow the road approx. 2 miles, Turn right at the three way stop light. Take an immediate left into the Avila Village at Bay Laurel Drive. The Inn is found at the end of the parking lot.
From southbound Hwy. 101, take the San Luis Bay Drive exit. Turn west and follow San Luis Bay Drive for two miles. Turn right into the Avila Village at Bay Laurel Drive. The Inn is found at the end of the parking lot.
