Our Clean Facilitator Programme is in 3 parts:

Depending on your learning style, and travelling distances involved, you can take all three parts together or spread them out over time. We run programmes in the UK (Hampshire and Manchester), in the USA (Oregon and California), in Australia (Sydney) and in Russia (Moscow). And we're willing to travel if you can get a group of interested people together.

Related FAQs

  • What is Clean Language?

At one level, Clean Language is simply a set of questions used with client’s own words to direct their attention to some aspect of their own experience. But this belies the fact that asking even one of these questions in the right context can result in an interesting new insight or the recognition of some new possibility. And what happens when that new possibility itself is questioned using Clean Language can be quite profound. Within two or three questions, many people find themselves thinking new and extraordinary thoughts they’ve never considered before. The questions invite them to consider their experience from different perspectives and people are often surprised by their own capacity to generate new, powerful and useful ideas about their own experience.

  • What is Symbolic Modelling?

While using Clean Language, a facilitator or coach will often pay particular attention to the key metaphors, or symbols, the client is using to describe their situation. When these are reflected back to the client, they can be used as a vehicle for them to model, or map, the client’s thought processes and resultant behaviour. Hence the term Symbolic Modelling. Working in this way enables clients to understand their own individual patterns of thought and models of behaviour. The coach and client then make use of these patterns to encourage conditions for change to happen if required, or to help replicate a successful pattern of behaviour.

  • Do I need any knowledge of Clean Language in order to join the Clean Facilitator Programme?

This course is for beginners and everyone is welcome. No previous knowledge is necessary. However, if you wish to find out a bit more about Clean Language before you come, you could read Metaphors in Mind by James Lawley and Penny Tompkins and / or Clean Language: Revealing Metaphors and Opening Minds, by Wendy Sullivan and Judy Rees. Other books related to this topic are shown here.

  • I want to come on a course, but the dates don’t work for me.
